—Client Liaison/Operations Manager
Studied Clinical Psychology at the University of Arkansas and left the UofA to enter a monastery. Chris originally hired me to work part time during the holiday season, but I ended up working for him for at least six months and still thought I would be leaving for an Orthodox monastery in California. However, I saw some the design work he was doing and was truly amazed by what he was creating. I knew then that I wanted to be more involved in his design business. As he began to assign me more responsibilities around the office and offering me the opportunity to meet with clients, it just made sense that he made me the operations manager.
Prior life – I have been working in the interior design field since 2000. I spent three years with Beauregard Interiors, before relocating to Washington DC. I was the principal designer and owner of Morgan Bradley Interior Design from 2006-2014 and then moved back to Northwest Arkansas to join Goddard Design Group.
Protégé of - Chris Goddard/ Reggie Marshall - These Arkansas design gurus took me under their wings after design school and taught me the standards of the luxury design industry at the time. At a time when using the internet to look for inspiration and style did not exist these two stayed on the cutting edge of design trends and faux pas.
Guilty pleasure - OVER THE TOP - I try to hold back when it comes to more is more, but deep inside that is who I am. You can never get enough of a good thing when it comes to my personal design style. You can always fit one more book or trinket on the shelf! I love a collection or vignette of similar items in a client’s home. I think it shows character and gives a sense of personality and history to the space that you can't just pick up in one spot. It has to look un-purposeful and collected over time.
